this year. It follows a co-ordinate educational model within a village of
schools consisting of boys' and girls' colleges, boys' and girls' preparatory
schools, and a junior preparatory.
St Stithians Boys' College has 6 Pillars of Education in
which it instills its moral values into the Students.

Spirituality, Sport, Culture, Community Service and Academics.

The Cumberland Bird Sanctuary
Both this and last year sponsors and residents have
come forward to support the cleaning up of the bird sanctuary. Committed residents have
been working hard to bring the bird sanctury back to life and have been
gathering support along the way to oust alien plants and other maintenance
projects. There are some rare bird species surviving in the area, namely a
breeding pair of black sparrow hawks. The sanctuary is open to the public on
the first Sunday of every month while a security guard is posted at the gates.
There is also a visitors' log at the entrance where the public can leave their
details to stay informed about developments at the sanctuary.
